After an 8 million euro investment, the new property brings 40 jobs and a significant economic boost to Sligo. Situated in the majestic West Atlantic Way, The Address Sligo is owned by leading hoteliers Brian and Ciara Mc Gettigan, and offers a scenic leisure guest experience. Offering a new Address like no other, the stylish new 61 bed hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment in the heart of Sligo City that celebrates the local culture and landscape. The hotel spans over five sympathetically restored stories, blending contemporary design, rich heritage, and state of the art facilities to create an urban sanctuary in the heart of Sligo Town.

The hotel’s design is centred around the wild Irish landscape, with aquatic colour palettes inspired by Sligo’s coastline and the lush lakelands. In the lobby and bar, stunning marble desks and tables echo Ireland’s emerald green and Atlantic blue colourways. 

Each plush bedroom is the epitome of luxury created with comfort in mind, from the super-premium mattresses to the carefully chosen Irish beauty products, including aroma therapeutic pillow sprays and soothing body washes. In the past 3 years the Address Group has invested:

• €9 million investment in The Address Glasgow a new design-led, state-of-the-art, luxe urban retreat for locals and tourists to explore. The Address Glasgow includes a wellness spa complete with gym, plunge pool, heated loungers and a Himalayan salt rock sauna, alongside beautifully presented meeting rooms. For dining and socialising there will be the eye-catching North, a striking open plan eatery and cocktail bar located on street level, offering sumptuous all-day dining and expertly crafted cocktails and drinks for both guests and visitors. 
• €5 Million into the 129-bed Address Citywest, with an upgrade of all guest bedrooms, the public areas, hotel lobby, the outside seating areas, the addition of our club lounge concept and North Eatery.
• €3.5 Million in the 70-bed Address Cork, with an upgrade of guest bedrooms, public areas, hotel lobby and the addition of our club lounge concept. Further €0.5 million refurbishments are underway in The Address Cork for an enhancement of all guest bedrooms in the hotel and the iconic ballroom.
• €40 Million on a new hotel in the pipeline – The Address Capel Street, Dublin – This is for the purchase and build of a new hotel on Capel Street with 90 bedrooms.
• €10 Million into the Address Connolly, with an upgrade of existing bedrooms, the public areas and the addition of 40 more club bedrooms. In 2020, the Address Connolly became a 278-bed hotel in the heart of Dublin City Centre. 
• In 2023 the group introduced to The Address Connolly a state-of-the-art gym, hydrotherapy pool, salt treatment and LED sauna for its guests The Club Spa.  With a new state of the art wellness centre to open in Glasgow, Sligo and Cork in 2024. Creating new spaces within each hotel for our guests.
